v0.13a Progress Update
I haven’t yet touched the feedback-related bugs and suggestions yet, but they’re easy enough to fix, so I put them off until I got some other essentials done for the next release.
What I did was put together a session controller that keeps track of player progress and all that kind of data. The weapons you’ve unlocked, the stage you’re on, your money, your achievements (And yes, I also added the framework for achievements), and so on. I got it all hooked up and ready to go.
With that in place, I am able to put together the story mode. I also made sure that the save format was version safe so that if I add new functionality or values to the session controller, you won’t have to start all over again.
Before I can really start on the story mode, I need a continue screen with informative save slots, a lot more content, and to keep working on those bugfixes and suggestions. Much to be done!
